As with our aerospace and oil and gas sectors, Oklahoma must become a hub of activity for wind power, manufacturing, training and research. By doing so, we ensure that every part of Oklahoma benefits from the job creation promised. Keynote Address: The Wind Forcast - What Oklahomans Want for Their Energy Future     Session Video

A recent public opinion poll of Oklahomans shows strong support for wind energy development. The poll offers policy makers a perspective on what Oklahomans want for their energy future. This panel discussion will highlight Oklahoman's attitudes about wind development, their willingness to pay for wind development, and their awareness about the importance of building transmission lines to meet Oklahoma's needs and create opportunity to sell electricity to other states. Oklahoman's attitudes toward wind development will play an important role in the State's ability to capitalize on this emerging industry.
